Florentine silversmith Gianfranco Pampaloni made this installation for his shop window.

“Il cuore e una pompa” translates to “The heart is a pump”.

I prefer this image where the heart still looks lush and vital.

I am very happy that my Valentine does not have such a flair for the dramatic.
